An Artichoke Project

Media, Academics, Publishers and Professional Photographers

If you are a member of the press and would like images of Temple, please contact Anna Vinegrad, anna.vinegrad@artichoke.uk.com / 07813 808 487 with your request.

If you are a press or professional photographer or broadcaster (TV or radio), or you are from an academic institution or publisher interested in filming or taking photos at Temple for publication in any form, you must secure permission and accreditation to access the site. Please contact Anna Vinegrad who can advise you on the process.

We also ask that wherever you use images or film footage you credit the project, artist and Artichoke as follows:

Temple, David Best, 2015. Produced by Artichoke in Derry-Londonderry.

Please ensure you provide Artichoke with a copy of the publication or film where the image or footage appears.

Temple will be open to the public from Saturday 14th to Friday 20th March, 12 noon - 8pm. Weather permitting on Saturday 21st March at 8pm, Temple will be burnt in a special ceremony. We expect the site to be very busy so please consider the equipment that you’ll need to bring and keep your kit to a minimum. For example, it may be difficult due to the number of people to set up a tripod for any length of time. We will be able to suggest good viewing points but once on site, with full accreditation, you will be welcome to move around as you wish. Depending on the weather, especially the wind speed and direction, it may be that the best shots will vary during the time of the burn.
