An Artichoke Project

Temple was produced by Artichoke.  This was the company's second time in Derry~Londonderry after the light festival Lumiere, part of the celebrations for UK City of Culture, 2013.  In 2012 Artichoke also produced Peace Camp by Deborah Warner in collaboration with Fiona Shaw to the North Antrim Coast and Borough of Coleraine.

Artichoke was founded by Helen Marriage and Nicky Webb in 2005.  Their aim is to work with artists to create extraordinary, large-scale events that appeal to the widest possible audience. They don’t believe the arts should take place only behind the closed doors of theatres or art galleries. Instead, they create shows in unusual places: in the streets, public spaces or in the countryside.

They are registered charity, and rely on grants, donations and sponsors to fund our work.  If you like what the company does and you'd like to support them, become an Artichoke Heart.
