Temple
An Artichoke Project

Sean Brennan

Both sides of my family are from Northern Ireland, I can remember my great grandmother singing songs about the troubles and her reminiscing about the beautiful coast near Derry. I am incredibly grateful for this land and the people and the opportunity to help build a 'temple' honoring our loved ones in this way.

Sean Brennan is an outdoor educator trained in mindfulness, conscious communication, kids yoga, and non-directive therapeutic play. He has worked with children and families in various settings for the past 15 years.  From co – founding a pre-school and toddler programme based on mindfulness, nature play, and conscious communication in Oakland, California (earlyecology.com) to working with seriously injured children in Shriner Hospital’s burn unit; Sean uses the power of play and mindfulness to empower, heal, connect and inspire.

Sean now lives in London with his wife where he leads The Richmond Woods (a mindfulness and nature play programme for kids and parents (richmondwoods.co.uk), parenting support groups & family consultations at Healthy Families Happy Kids (healthyfamilieshappykids.co.uk) and teaches family workshops at the Esalen Institute in California.
